Great Northern is Australia's best-selling beer, and these are the officially licensed fridges that carry its livery. Start with where it is going
A Great Northern mini fridge is the 46L retro at $447. It stands 500mm tall and 430mm wide, runs at 39dB, and fits under a bench, on top of one, or in the corner of a shed. It is where most people start, and it comes in all three liveries.
The 70L is the one that does the work. Glass door at $597 so you can see what is left without opening it, or the Bluetooth speaker model at the same price when the fridge is also the stereo. The tropical-rated EC68L is $647, and the stainless-trimmed SC70-SS is $777 with a two-year warranty.
Above that the range goes vertical. The 160L skinny upright is 1,880mm tall and only 390mm wide, which is the answer when floor space is the constraint and wall space is not: from $1,000. The 370L upright is a proper Great Northern beer fridge for a garage bar or a games room at $1,397, 1,940mm by 615mm, 41dB, in black or white, with left-hinge versions for corners that only open one way.
Away from the bar, the 60L portable camping fridge freezer ($997, two-year warranty) handles the ute, the boat and the campsite. Great Northern rubber-backed bar mats and runners finish the bench.
What holds across the range
Every fridge here runs between 39dB and 43dB, which is quiet enough to sit in a living room rather than being exiled to the garage. Most are glass door with LED lighting so the branding is doing something after dark; the retro minis and the Bluetooth models are solid door. Warranty is one year on the 46L and 70L compact models and two years on the uprights, the stainless 70L and the portable.
