About Wine Fridges
Wine fridges built to serve, not to age. These are drinking fridges — they bring reds to 16–18°C and whites to 6–10°C and hold them there, ready to pour. If you're cellaring investment wine for a decade you'll want a humidity-controlled wine cabinet; if you want tonight's bottles at exactly the right temperature next to the bar, this is the range.
18 units, 122–405L, $950–$4,253. The core of the range is dual zone: the JC132D (122L, 595mm wide, 800mm tall — a true under bench wine fridge) and the Schmick BD425 405L uprights, whose slide-out telescopic shelves each hold 9 standard bottles across 15 shelves, with rubber sliding saddles so mixed bottle sizes sit without touching. The JC165B dual zone fits 30 wine bottles and 90 cans at once — beer side ice cold, wine side cellar-cool.
Outdoor? The Rhino alfresco beer & wine pairs are built for it. Every glass door in the range is double or triple glazed with Low-E glass, and most units carry a 2-year warranty — the spec table on each listing has the exact figure. For beer-and-wine combos see the combo collection; for two temperatures in one cabinet, dual zone fridges.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Reds: 16–18°C serving, 12–14°C storage. Whites: 6–10°C serving, 10–12°C storage. Sparkling: 4–7°C. Multi-zone models let you set different temperatures.
-
Wine fridges have vibration-dampened compressors, UV-protected glass, humidity control, and angled shelving. Regular bar fridges chill but don’t protect wine quality long-term.
-
12-bottle countertop to 200+ bottle full-height cellars. Most popular: 30–50 bottles (single zone) and 50–100 (dual zone).
-
Yes. 50mm on sides and rear for freestanding. Front-venting models can be built in.
-
Wine temperature (10–16°C) won’t chill beer to ideal serving temp (2–4°C). Use a dual-zone beer and wine fridge instead.
-
Most run 35–42dB. Thermoelectric models are near-silent under 30dB but have limited capacity.
