Great Little Bar Fridge – Quiet, Efficient, and the Perfect Fit We recently bought the 46L Schmick Black Mini Bar Fridge (Model HUS-BC46B2) and have been really impressed. Delivery was fast and the fridge arrived very well packed. It's the perfect size to fit neatly under our bar, and it holds a surprising amount – we can fit 6 to 7 wine bottles plus about 10 cans if you include the door storage. It’s sitting in our lounge/media room and I was a bit worried it might be noisy, but honestly, I barely notice it's running. It’s extremely quiet. Energy-wise, it's very efficient. I plugged it into a power meter and it draws only 41 watts when running – hardly anything, which is great. The only minor negatives: I initially had the temperature set to 2 and noticed a bit of ice forming inside. I turned it down slightly and now it keeps the drinks cold without any ice build-up. Also, the shelves in the door are a bit oddly sized – they only fit one wine bottle. If they were just a little wider, you could easily fit two. Overall, we're very happy with this fridge. It does exactly what we need, runs quietly and efficiently, and looks great under the bar.
Purchased for room in Aged Care Facility. Fridge is exactly what mum wanted - quiet, small but big enough for some fruit, chocolate and drinks, with no freezer to have to defrost. Works perfectly.
