Policy

At KingCave, we pride ourselves on reliable delivery, transparent communication, and fair returns. Every order is fully insured throughout Australia and backed by a seamless warranty and support process for complete peace of mind.

Delivery & Address Requirements

Orders are shipped via registered courier services and cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes. In most cases, a signature is required upon delivery. With prior approval, items may be left at a designated location (“Authority to Leave”).

Once an order has been dispatched, the shipping address cannot be changed unless you contact us directly. While we’ll do our best to assist, address changes after dispatch cannot be guaranteed.

Delivery Restrictions & Special Arrangements

Delivery is to the client’s doorstep only. Couriers are not required to bring items inside, unpack them, or remove packaging. If you require additional services—such as upstairs delivery or indoor placement—please request a quote before checkout. Additional charges may apply.

Remote & Difficult-to-Access Locations

Given the size and geographic diversity of Australia, some remote or hard-to-access areas may incur higher delivery fees. If your delivery address falls into one of these zones, we will contact you after your order is received with a confirmed freight quote.

  • If you choose to proceed, we will send you a secure payment link for the additional shipping amount.
  • If you prefer not to proceed, you may decline the quote for a full refund of your order — no fees deducted.

We aim to ensure all shipping charges remain fair and transparent, and we’ll always communicate any adjustments before dispatch.

Shipping Cost Estimates

We strive to ensure the shipping price shown at checkout is accurate. However, in rare cases—particularly for regional or remote deliveries—actual freight costs may differ. If this occurs, we’ll contact you to confirm any changes before dispatch, giving you the choice to accept or receive a full refund.

Insurance & Warranty

All KingCave orders are fully insured throughout Australia. If your product arrives damaged or is lost in transit, we’ll handle the courier insurance claim directly on your behalf for fast resolution.

Our warranty process is seamless and fully supported by our service team. If you experience an issue during the warranty period, contact us for prompt assessment and assistance.

Damages & Claims

All claims for damaged or short-delivered items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Please inspect your item upon arrival—even if no visible damage is present. Prompt reporting ensures quick processing under our insurance and courier claim procedures.

Delivery Suitability & Access

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is accessible and suitable for courier delivery. Difficult access (e.g. stairs, narrow driveways, or rural terrain) may incur additional fees or delay delivery. Please contact us prior to ordering if you’re uncertain about site access.

Shipping Timelines

Most orders are dispatched within 72 hours of payment clearance. Transit times vary depending on your location and the delivery network:

  • Major cities & metro areas: 4–8 business days
  • Rural & remote locations: Allow an additional 4–5 business days

Tracking details are provided via email once your order has been shipped.

Shipping Outside Australia

We currently ship within Australia only. International customers must arrange their own freight forwarding. Warranty coverage applies within Australia and New Zealand only, though replacement parts can be supplied under warranty terms.

Liability for Delivered Items

Once an order has been delivered to the address provided at checkout, KingCave is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of goods, including cases where “Authority to Leave” was granted. All shipments are insured until they are confirmed delivered.

Returns & Cancellations

All returns and cancellations follow our Returns & Refunds Policy. A summary is provided below for convenience.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure.
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
  • A repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Change of Mind Returns

  • Return requests must be made within 180 days of purchase.
  • The item must be brand new, unopened, and in its original box and packaging.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility using a trackable courier service.
  • The original delivery fee and return shipping cost are non-refundable.
  • A 20% restocking fee applies.

Custom-Branded or Made-to-Order Products

Custom-branded or made-to-order items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns once production has begun. If a custom product arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, we will repair, replace, or refund in accordance with the ACL.

Order Cancellations

  • Before dispatch: Orders may be cancelled for a full refund.
  • After dispatch: A 20% restocking fee applies, and original plus return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund once the product is returned in brand new condition.

How to Lodge a Return

  1. Contact us with your order number, reason for return, and supporting photos or video.
  2. Once approved, we’ll provide the correct warehouse return address.
  3. Use a trackable shipping method — we are not liable for lost or untracked returns.
  4. Refunds are processed to your original payment method after inspection and approval.
