About Bar Fridges for Office
An office fridge has one non-negotiable spec: noise. If you can hear it during a phone call, it’s wrong. Every unit in this collection runs at 39dB or below — the quietest models hit 36dB, which is effectively silent at desk distance. For comparison, a whisper is about 30dB and a normal office sits around 45–50dB. These disappear into the background.
Size matters in the opposite direction here. Office installs are compact — the 46L and 68L mini units fit under a desk or in a credenza and hold 30–50 cans. For a shared kitchen or breakout area, step up to the 98L range (roughly 80 cans) which tucks neatly under a bench at standard 850mm counter height.
Front-venting is critical for office installs. Most office fridges end up boxed into furniture — under a desk, inside a credenza, in a built-in kitchenette. Front-venting models exhaust through the kick plate and need zero rear clearance. Every fridge in this collection is front-venting or freestanding with minimal clearance needs.
Energy efficiency keeps running costs low — the compact units in this collection draw between 0.4–0.8 kWh per day, translating to roughly $50–$100 per year in electricity.
For corporate offices and reception areas, our custom branding service wraps any unit with your company logo and brand colours — a subtle but effective brand touchpoint. All units ship Australia-wide. Warranty varies by model - the spec table on each listing has the exact figure.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Under 39dB is the standard for office use — quieter than a library. Our quietest office models run at 36–38dB, inaudible from more than a metre away. In a shared kitchen with more background noise, anything under 40dB works.
-
In a shared office, yes. A keyed lock prevents food theft and limits access. Our Schmick office units from 68L upward include a keyed lock as standard.
-
A 46L unit (approx 470mm wide × 510mm deep × 450mm tall) fits on a shelf or in a cupboard, holding around 30 cans. For under-desk installation, the 68L models at roughly 440mm wide × 500mm deep × 690mm tall are the sweet spot.
-
Yes, if you pick a front-venting model. Front-venting units exhaust heat from the front grille, so being enclosed on three sides is fine. Rear-venting models will overheat under a desk.
-
The 46–98L units draw 0.4–0.8 kWh per day. At around 33c/kWh, that’s $48–$96 per year, or roughly $1–$2 per week.
