Lockable Fridges
A lockable fridge keeps the drinks where you left them. In an office kitchen, a clubhouse, a staff room or a garage, a key lock is the difference between stock you control and stock that walks. This is KingCave's full range of lockable bar fridges - from a 23L countertop unit up to an 825L commercial cabinet, priced from $297.
After a mini lockable fridge? Around 85 models sit at 100L or under, and 17 of those are under 50L - small enough for a bedroom, a study, a hotel room or a reception desk. At the other end, roughly 100 models run past 200L for a club bar or a function room. Most of the range is glass door, so you can read the stock without opening it; solid door models are here too, for where you would rather the contents were not on show.
Around 80 models are under-counter and a further 20 are true built-in, so a lockable fridge can sit beneath a bench and still lock. Most carry an outdoor rating for an alfresco bar, and the rest are indoor-only. Noise matters in an office or a bedroom - 77 models run at 42dB or quieter. Finishes cover black, stainless, white and licensed or branded designs, built mostly on Schmick and Rhino chassis.
The range spans glass door display fridges for visible stock control, solid door units for plain security, under-bench formats that lock beneath the counter, outdoor-rated models for alfresco bars, and compact mini bar fridges or slim bar fridges for a lockable fridge in a tight space. It is possible with aftermarket fridge locks or padlock hasps, but we do not recommend it. Drilling into a fridge door risks damaging the insulation or the cooling lines, and it will usually void the warranty. It is far better to buy a model with a factory-fitted lock - the cost difference is minimal.

No, but most are. The large majority of our bar fridge range ships with an integrated key lock as standard. Lock specification is listed per model on the product page, so check the model you are looking at rather than assuming.

Typically no. A built-in key lock adds very little to the manufacturing cost. Some of our most affordable models include one as standard - the Schmick 50L Tropical Glass Door (HUS-SC50W) starts at $396.00 with a lock fitted.

Most manufacturers can supply replacement keys if you provide the key number, usually stamped on the original key or listed in the manual. Contact us with your model number and we can help source replacements.
